We want greenpepperiseo.it to be easy for everyone to use, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader or custom display settings.
How the website was built
The website was designed using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as a reference. In particular:
- it can be used entirely with a keyboard, with the selected element always highlighted and a link to skip straight to the content;
- text and background contrast meets the recommended minimum values;
- form fields have visible labels; errors are explained in words and linked to the field to fix;
- informative images have a text alternative, decorative ones are ignored by screen readers;
- if your device asks to reduce motion, animation effects are turned off.
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant: it was checked manually and with automated tools during development, not through a full assessment by an external body. Content we know is not fully accessible:
- Menu: the menu page shows the pages of the printed menu as images, so screen readers cannot read the text. For food, drinks, prices and allergens, ask our staff or call us on +39 335 676 1088.
- Google map: this is third-party content and only loads on request. The address is also written on the page, with a link to open it in Google Maps.
